Read more to learn how to set your rates for sponsored posts! 💰

You’ve probably heard formulas like:
✨ The Penny Method: $0.01 per follower
✨ $100 per 10k followers (1% per thousand followers)

But here’s the catch: these formulas only look at your follower count! Brands are paying you for much more than that—your expertise, creativity, trust with your audience, and even your time and gear. They don’t just want to send you a pre-made post; they value your unique touch.

So, how do you set your rates? Try this formula:
Followers x Average Impact Level + Contract Terms = Your Rate

Now, this is a guideline, not a one-size-fits-all solution. I’ve crafted it through years of experience and it’s worked well for me and my students.

I know the formula alone could be hard to understand so comment “IG Rates” so I can send you to the video on my YT channel breaking this down! 🔑✨

(Disclaimer: These rates are STARTING rates, meaning that exclusivity, paid usage & other factors found in contracts could add more to the final number.

The goal with this Reel is simply to start a conversation and bring transparency to influencer rates. My rates are always fluctuating depending on many factors. For example, I took a 7-month Instagram break and these are my rates for now since coming back.)
