Along the way, they indulge in freshly made red bean custard pastries and shop for souvenirs. Evan’s love for cooking brings them to Kappabashi Street, known for its high-quality kitchen tools and appliances. They also make a pit stop at a legendary matcha shop to sample their strongest level 7 matcha—an intense experience Evan truly enjoys.
The evening winds down with some much-needed rest before dinner. Although rain changes their plans for attending a lantern festival, they pivot to a cozy sushi meal back at the hotel, learning about Japan’s unique way of serving wasabi. This fun-packed day is a perfect mix of exploring Japan’s culture, trying delicious local food, and making meaningful memories together.
