I’ve made quite a few videos about how to make money on YouTube without showing your face… but this is definitely one of the best ones for sure! Here’s a summary of the 6 steps I laid out in the video:
STEP 1 – SHOW 2 EXAMPLE CHANNELS. The 2 example channels I showed were Surfside PPC and WP Cupid Blog – WordPress Tutorials. I chose these for a very important reason (which I talk about later). But there’s also 3 main things I wanted you to understand from this part: 1 – how the videos work, 2 – what niches work best, and 3 – the secret monetization method.
STEP 2 – DECIDE YOUR NICHE. In this video, I focused on the WordPress Tutorial niche because with the special monetization links you can make WAY MORE MONEY than regular channels who just rely on YouTube ad revenue to get paid… and you can make more money, as a much smaller channel even – and you can use the same strategy in almost ANY niche!
STEP 3 – COME UP WITH VIDEO IDEAS. This is something that a lot of people screw up on – they try and come up with their own crazy ideas for content when they don’t know how to make a good video or even know much about the topic the video is in… that’s a BIG NO-NO. Don’t try and reinvent the wheel – just focus on modeling PROVEN content.
STEP 4 – PLANNING TITLE, TAGS & DESCRIPTION. Even in my own channel, when it comes to this step… there is ONE main tool I use that has changed the game for me and that’s MorningFame. This tool is linked in the resources above, but it’s absolutely mind-blowing how valuable it is for your YouTube channel if you use it properly.
STEP 5 – CREATE THE VIDEOS (3 PARTS). The 3 parts to creating the videos are: 1 – scripting, 2 – recording, and 3 – editing. The nice thing is, there are free tools for each of these and I show you how to do it all! But I won’t bore you with the details here because the video will show you everything you need to know. Plus, each of the tools I suggested are linked in the resources above.
STEP 6 – UPLOAD THE VIDEO. This is another step where MorningFame just simply shines bright like a diamond. No lie though, it just makes things so much QUICKER & EASIER (which is music to my ears). Some say thumbnails are even more important than the video itself because it doesn’t matter how good a video is if no one is clicking on it!
