Instagram Statuses give followers a snapshot into what you’re up to that day.
How Statuses work:
Statuses are visible to people who follow you back and appear on your Instagram profile.
Users can choose from the following status options: “happy”, “busy”, “celebrating” or “working”.
According to Testing Catalog, Instagram has rolled out the feature to more users. A wider test also means Instagram wants to push ephemeral content following the success of Stories, which have become more polished over time.
