Here are the latest updates:
1. Thumbnail selection for IOS Users
While Andriod users were able to select the thumbnail for their Shorts, IOS users didn’t ahve that ability. Until now!
2. Android users can reply to comments with a Short
The same functionality was available to IOS users in February.
3. Expanding image poll character limit to 36 characters, up from 14 before.
This will provide more capacity to generate engagement with visual polls while also updating its’ permission in YouTube studio which will enable channel managers to better assign duties.
These are relatively minor updates, but shows how consistent and stable youtube is as a platform, that they don’t have to be changing every two seconds. 🤪
