WordPress has a built-in feature that allows you to undo changes and go back to a previous version of a post when you make changes that are saved when publishing a post. For the first method to do this, you would want to go to your post you want to revert, go into the document settings, and scroll down to the revision section. Once you click the revisions section it should bring up the default revision editor where you can see the previous versions of the article with the option to revert to the previous version.
There is also the checkbox in the top-right of the revisions screen to compare revisions, when you check that option you will see the two revisions side by side for you to choose which one to use. You will not be able to choose the revision if it is what is currently set on the content as there would be nothing to change.
